Who We Are

We are a nonprofit ministry of First Baptist Church of Salt Lake City. Our mission is to provide the highest quality early childhood education to all children and families, regardless of faith background.

While we are a ministry of First Baptist Church, we are not a religious program. We are a warm community with a genuine commitment to your child's growth and well-being. We are inclusive in every sense of the word.

All Families are Welcome

Our Vision

At First Baptist Child Development Center, we want every child to feel like they are coming home to school. Our program reflects our knowledge of child development by offering high quality infant, toddler, twos, and preschool programs. Low teacher to child ratios in each classroom promote the physical, social, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual development of young children. Our highly trained teachers and staff nurture children’s natural curiosity and wonder within a safe, homelike environment that allows them to explore and discover. We partner with parents, building a strong foundation for success in the life of each child.

Play, exploration, and human connection. No screens, just real childhood.

I always tell all of my friends and coworkers who are looking for care that we loved First Baptist, especially because of the warm and knowledgeable expert teachers, and that I also love getting kindergarteners who attended First Baptist: they come ready to share, be kind, listen and learn.
